The Timeless Birthday Book

A Birthday Book is a forever calendar to use year after year. It is a personalized reminder of dates for the important people in your life. My time and my love are the most precious things I have to give.

This is something to bring with you when attending family gatherings and events. You can have your family and friends sign your book with their name and year of birth on their calendar birth date. ae: June 8. Everyone has a birthday and it is a joy to see that special person’s signature. I usually say “I like middle names.” Not everybody has one, but everyone’s handwriting is distinct. This way you will be able to stay connected in a caring way.

I love to find a card in my mailbox knowing that someone cares and they like having me in their life. This is what I can give.

This book will take a little time. I believe it is not a “get done” task. The quote “Only by giving are you able to receive more than you already have” – by Jim Rohn comes to mind. I send a card and the friend or relative is so pleased to first, receive something in the mail and second to know they are important and loved by me.

One year, I sent a birthday card to a young man in his 20’s who had signed my Birthday Book when he was perhaps 7 yrs old. I sent a copy of his name along with – Boy, was he surprised as he didn’t remember doing that.

Of course this may not work for everyone. Remembering to take your book is the key to keeping connected intentionally. My brother has always said it is a good tool. I often refer to my book to see how old a child is or how long a couple have been married. The years absolutely get away from me. That is why the year written down is so important.

I would see my family’s Birthday Book on the wooden tabletop podium. I knew many of these people throughout my life. My mother had a lovely bookmark, keeping the place for that week.

It is helpful to turn the page in my new Birthday Book and have the next 7 days.

This book will be a unique long lasting gift.
